Public Notice on Guangxi Sun Paper’s 800,000 tpy Bleached Chemical Pulp and Fluff Pulp Project Recently, the draft environmental impact statement for public consultation on Phase IV Project of Tieshan Port Pulp & Paper Industrial Park of Guangxi Sun Paper Co., Ltd., has been publicly released. The project is situated on newly added land to the east of Guangxi Sun Paper Co., Ltd., east of Gangdong Road (formerly Xin'er Road) and south of Shengye Road (formerly No.8 Road) in Tieshan Port (Coastal) Industrial Zone, with a newly expropriated land area of approximately 1,010.35 mu. Using hardwood chips and softwood chips as raw materials and adopting the kraft pulping process, the project will construct one high-grade chemical wood pulp production line with an output of 800,000 tpy. The system design enables the co-production of bleached chemical hardwood pulp (54%), bleached chemical softwood pulp (20%) and fluff pulp (26%). - 2026-08

Solo Soft White Tissues Reorders Two Tissue Production Lines from Shandong Hicredit Heavy Machinery On July 15, Egypt’s Solo Soft White Tissues signed a procurement contract for two tissue production lines with Shandong Hicredit Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Adopting the EPS model covering design, procurement, supervision, technical services and other procedures, the project will be fully undertaken by Shandong Hicredit Heavy Machinery to deliver two complete sets of high-speed, energy-saving and intelligent tissue-making equipment with a combined production capacity of 56,000 tpy. Upon completion and commissioning of the project, Solo Soft White Tissues’ annual tissue production capacity in Egypt is expected to account for approximately 31% of the country’s total tissue output, with projected annual sales reaching 168 million US dollars. - 2026-08

Anhui Huasaier to Build 400,000 tpy Lyocell Fiber Project Recently, Anhui Huasaier New Material Technology Co., Ltd. publicized the environmental impact assessment (EIA) documents for its Phase I and Phase II Lyocell fiber project with an output of 400,000 tpy. With a total planned investment of approximately RMB 4.8 billion, the project involves the construction of production workshops and supporting facilities covering a total construction area of around 240,000 square meters to realize a production capacity of 400,000 tpy of Lyocell fiber. The total investment breakdown is as follows: Phase I: 120,000 tpy of Lyocell fiber, planned investment of about RMB 1.5 billion; Phase II: 180,000 tpy of Lyocell fiber, planned investment of about RMB 2.1 billion; Phase III: 100,000 tpy of Lyocell fiber, planned investment of about RMB 1.2 billion. - 2026-08

Quanzhou Huanuo Nonwovens Project Signed and Settled in Xiaogan, Hubei Province, China On July 3, Quanzhou Huanuo Nonwoven Co., Ltd. officially signed a cooperation agreement for its new production project with Xiaogan City, Hubei Province. As a national high-tech enterprise and a Fujian Provincial SRDI (Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative) SME, Quanzhou Huanuo Nonwoven Co., Ltd. has long focused on the R&D and manufacturing of nonwoven materials for hygiene products. The Xiaogan production project under this agreement entails a total investment of RMB 100 million and covers a construction area of 10,000 square meters. It will be located in the existing workshop of Hubei Tianjiao Hygiene Products Co., Ltd., supplying core supporting raw materials for the company. - 2026-08

Quality & Efficiency Improvement Technical Renovation Project of Nanning Sun Paper’s Integrated Forest-Pulp-Paper Industry Approved On June 26, the Environmental Impact Report for the quality and efficiency improvement technical renovation project of the integrated forest-pulp-paper industrial base of Nanning Sun Paper obtained official approval. The approved total pulp and paper production capacity of Nanning Sun Paper Co., Ltd. stands at 4.95 million tpy, including a capacity of 1.45 million tpy and paper capacity of 3.5 million tpy. At present, its completed pulp and paper output scale reaches 4.05 million tpy, consisting of 1.15 million tpy of pulp and 2.9 million tpy of paper. - 2026-08

Located in Gangqiao Industrial Park, Yongchuan District, Chongqing, the project leases existing factory buildings of Chongqing Lee & Man Hygiene Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and expands 8 production lines for lotion tissue, with an annual processing capacity of 100,000 tpy.
