China Yusen adds three more crescent tissue machines from Shanghai Qingliang, further expanding tissue paper capacity China Yusen Group and Shanghai Qingliang have recently signed a new contract under which Yusen will purchase three crescent tissue machines from Shanghai Qingliang, each with a width of 2.85 m and design speed of 1,700 m/min. Prior to this order, Yusen had already sourced from Shanghai Qingliang four 3,550/1,400 high-speed crescent tissue machines (all launched in 2019) and one 2,850/1,600 high-speed crescent tissue machine (launched in May 2025). - 2025-09

China’s Hebei Beimiao Paper to build 250,000 tpy tissue paper project with 10 lines The government of Longyao County, Hebei Province, has published the environmental-impact evaluation for Beimiao Paper’s new premium tissue paper project. The 150-mu site in Lianzizhen Village will house 79,360 m² of buildings and 10 production lines including high-speed tissue machines and various auxiliary facilities and equipment. The capacity will reach 250,000 tpy of high-grade tissue paper after launching. - 2025-09

Longjing Paper rolls out China’s first 100 % bamboo-pulp, embossed kitchen towel Chongqing Longjing Paper has begun commercial production of embossed kitchen towels made entirely from bamboo pulp on its new PrimeLineHyTAD (HyTAD) tissue machine—the first of its kind worldwide supplied by Andritz. China Hubei Zhencheng Paper plans to build a 500,000 tpy bleached hardwood pulp project On June 19, the Jingzhou Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau released the first public notice on the environmental impact assessment of the Green Fiber Processing and Supporting Engineering Project by Hubei Zhencheng Paper Co., Ltd. According to the notice, the project is located in the Yangjiachang Industrial Park, Gong'an County, Hubei Province. The project involves the construction of a production line for 500,000 tons per year of bleached kraft hardwood pulp. The project site covers an area of 1,019 mu (approximately 679,300 square meters) and has a building area of 96,490 square meters. The construction will include workshops for material preparation, chemical pulping, alkali recovery, pulp board production, chemical preparation, as well as storage yards and warehouses. Supporting facilities such as an alkali furnace, water supply system, and air compressor station will also be provided. - 2025-09
