MR Fiber Joint Held Groundbreaking Ceremony for Phase III Project: 120,000 tpy Digital & Flexible Smart Production Line for Functional Microfiber Hygiene Materials Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Phase III 120,000 tpy Digital & Flexible Smart Production Line for Functional Microfiber Hygiene Materials was held by Fujian MR Fiber Joint (Nanping) Co., Ltd. This project marks a key step for Fujian MR Fiber Joint in constructing a high-end hygiene materials industrial cluster and advancing its digital transformation. According to reports, the project is located in the Jianyang Economic Development Zone of Nanping City, Fujian Province, with a total investment of RMB 1.2 billion. Focusing on renovation and expansion, it will upgrade advanced equipment such as melt spinning and drawing systems, phase out outdated facilities, and simultaneously carry out digital transformation of hygiene materials production lines. Upon completion, the project will achieve the green target of saving energy and reducing carbon emissions by 8,500 tons annually. - 2026-02

Valmet Supplied Shoe Press Upgrades for 5 Tissue Machines at Lee & Man Recently, Valmet has been selected to retrofit the press sections of 5 tissue machines owned by Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The transformation project will be carried out at the company’s plants in Chongqing, Jiangxi and Guangdong respectively, covering the supply of Advantage ViscoNip shoe press upgrade packages and related services for the 5 machines. Upgrading to the Advantage ViscoNip shoe press technology will significantly boost machine efficiency and reduce maintenance requirements. Lee & Man had previously purchased 9 Advantage DCT200HS tissue machines delivered by Valmet, all equipped with ViscoNip shoe press technology. This successful cooperation experience played a key role in its decision-making this time. - 2026-01

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Public Notice for Hengan (Chongqing) Tissue Paper Production Project (Phase III) - With 120,000 tpy capacity of Tissue Paper On December 8, the EIA public notice for Hengan (Chongqing) Tissue Paper Production Project (Phase III) was released. The project uses purchased softwood pulp boards and hardwood pulp boards as raw materials, with 120,000 tpy capacity of parent tissue roll. Among this output, 61,500 tpy of parent tissue roll will be further processed into toilet tissue and facial tissue, while the remaining 58,500 tons will be sold directly as parent tissue roll. The main construction scope of the project includes the following parts: four high-grade parent tissue roll production lines with 30,000 tpy capacity will be built in the papermaking workshop; the converting workshop will be equipped with four toilet tissue production lines each with 12,000 tpy capacity and three facial tissue production lines each with 6,000 tpy. The total investment of the project amounts to RMB 2 billion.
