Baoding Zhongxin Paper Puts Into Operation a Crescent Tissue Machine Supplied by Baoding Weituo On April 25, a crescent tissue machine supplied by Baoding Weituo Papermaking Machinery Co., Ltd. was officially commissioned at Baoding Zhongxin Paper Co., Ltd. The tissue machine has a width of 3.55 m, an operating speed of 1,500 m/min, and an annual production capacity of 30,000 tpy. It is equipped with the energy-saving breathing air hood and multi-stage turbulence headbox, both independently developed by Weituo. The machine delivers excellent sheet formation and optimal MD-CD tensile ratio, and can effectively reduce costs such as steam and power consumption. - 2026-06

The 3rd Tissue Machine of China C&S Paper (Dazhou) 300,000 tpy Pulp and Paper Integration Project Has Been Successfully Put Into Production On April 22, the 3rd Tissue machine (TM3) of Phase I of the 300,000 tpy Pulp and Paper Integration Project of C&S Paper (Dazhou) Co., Ltd. was successfully commissioned at Lidu Industrial Park, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. The project is constructed in three phases. Upon full completion, it is expected to generate an annual output value of nearly RMB 4 billion and annual tax revenue of about RMB 400 million, driving the upstream and downstream related industries to achieve an output value of RMB 7.5 billion. - 2026-05

Guangxi Zhihu Yuanchuang Paper Industry Releases EIA Public Notice for 300,000 tpy Plant Fiber New Material Hygiene Products Project Recently, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the 300,000 tpy plant fiber new material hygiene products project undertaken by Guangxi Zhihu Yuanchuang Paper Industry Co., Ltd. has been released for public comment. The project is located within the site of Zhihu’s tissue paper full-industrial-chain project in the Industrial Park, Gangnan District, Guigang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. According to the EIA public notice, the project will build a 300,000 tpy plant fiber production line, using plant fiber as raw material supplemented by purchased accessories to produce 600,000 tpy of hygiene products. The remaining secondary fluff pulp will be sold to local paper enterprises for the production of medical and nursing paper. In addition, the project will produce 9,000 tpy of eco-friendly wet-strength agent, all of which will be used internally for tissue paper production across the full-industrial-chain project with no external sales. - 2026-04

First Production Line of RGE Group’s 600,000 tpy Lyocell Project Put into Operation in Jining, Shandong On March 15, the first production line of RGE Group’s 600,000 tpy Lyocell fiber project was completed in Yutai County, Jining City, Shandong Province. It has a designed capacity of 150,000 tpy, with an actual output exceeding 180,000 tpy. With a total investment of RMB 11 billion, the project comprises four production lines, each with a output of over 150,000 tpy. Lee & Man Paper to Put Some Equipment of Its 800,000 tpy Toilet Tissue Project into Operation by End of 2026 Recently, the Lee & Man Paper forest-pulp-paper integrated full-industry-chain project is progressing in an orderly manner. With a total investment of RMB 27.5 billion, the project is planned to be constructed in two phases. Phase I includes a capacity of 1 million tpy of bleached chemical pulp and 800,000 tpy of tissue paper and related products. Phase II will focus on producing high-performance Lyocell fibers, a type of high-end bio-based degradable new material, as well as its downstream products.
