Zhejiang Wangjin Nonwovens Developed Flushable Nonwovens Segment, Third Line Under Installation and Commissioning
Zhejiang Wangjin Nonwovens Developed Flushable Nonwovens Segment, Third Line Under Installation and Commissioning Zhejiang Wangjin Nonwovens Co., Ltd. has invested RMB 1.35 billion to develop the flushable nonwovens segment. The company’s third flushable nonwovens production line is currently under orderly installation and commissioning. Phase I of the project mainly focuses on traditional nonwovens production, while Phase II fully concentrates on new flushable nonwovens materials. Once fully completed and put into operation, the project will have a capacity of over 120,000 tpy, of which new flushable nonwovens materials will account for more than 40%, with a capacity exceeding 50,000 tpy. - 2026-04

Sichuan Fuhuayuantai Plans to Build 700,000 tpy Bamboo-based Fiber and Specialty Paper Project Sichuan Fuhuayuantai Bamboo Fiber Co., Ltd. recently released the environmental impact assessment (EIA) public notice for its proposed 700,000 tpy bamboo-based fiber and specialty paper project. Located in the Paper and Paper Products Industrial Park, Hulu Group, Shawan Economic Development Zone, Sichuan Province, the project plans to build one single production line with a capacity of 300,000 tpy of bleached bamboo pulp (bamboo-based fiber), supported by a 400,000 tpy specialty paper production line, including 150,000 tpy food and medical packaging paper, 150,000 tpy hand towel tissue, and 100,000 tpy bamboo-based fiber material (fluff pulp), together with supporting public utilities and environmental protection facilities. - 2026-04

China Paper Signs Bio-based Project with Yueyang City, Including 450,000 tpy Tissue Paper Capacity Recently, the People’s Government of Yueyang City, Hunan Province, and China Paper Investment Co., Ltd. signed the Letter of Intent for Cooperation on the Yueyang Bio-based New Materials Industrial Park Project. The project has a total investment of approximately RMB 30.3 billion. Phase I involves a total investment of RMB 17 billion, covering the construction of a production base for 1.1 million tpy special cellulose and 450,000 tpy tissue paper and converting operations. Construction is scheduled to start in the first half of 2026, with commissioning expected by the end of 2027. Phase II, a 900,000 tpy special cellulose base project, will be launched after Phase I is commissioned. - 2026-04

The new tissue lines are scheduled to start up between the end of 2026 and early 2027. Featuring a width of 3,500 mm and a design speed of 1,650 m/min, each Valmet IntelliTissue line has a capacity of 30,000 tpy and produces tissue with a basis weight of 10 to 25 g/m². - 2026-04

All equipment will be supplied by Baotuo Tissue Machine, a subsidiary of Baosuo, including 2 hand towel machines and 4 BC1800-2850 Crescent Former tissue machines.
