Satellite Chemical Announces 2025 Financial Results Satellite Chemical China achieved operating revenue of approximately RMB 46.068 billion in 2025, representing a 0.92% year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company amounted to RMB 5.311 billion, down 12.54% year on year, while its overall net profit reached RMB 6.292 billion, up 4.02% year on year. The decline in the parent company’s net profit in 2025 was mainly attributable to an 8% to 12% year-on-year narrowing of the ethane-ethylene and propane-propylene price spreads, coupled with a 15% year-on-year drop in prices for general acrylic acid products, which put periodic pressure on gross margins. In addition, the delayed exit of high-cost overseas production capacity and oversupply of general chemical products in the domestic market further compressed overall industry profitability. - 2026-05

Guangxi Zhihu Yuanchuang Paper Industry Releases EIA Public Notice for 300,000 tpy Plant Fiber New Material Hygiene Products Project Recently, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the 300,000 tpy plant fiber new material hygiene products project undertaken by Guangxi Zhihu Yuanchuang Paper Industry Co., Ltd. has been released for public comment. The project is located within the site of Zhihu’s tissue paper full-industrial-chain project in the Industrial Park, Gangnan District, Guigang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. According to the EIA public notice, the project will build a 300,000 tpy plant fiber production line, using plant fiber as raw material supplemented by purchased accessories to produce 600,000 tpy of hygiene products. The remaining secondary fluff pulp will be sold to local paper enterprises for the production of medical and nursing paper. In addition, the project will produce 9,000 tpy of eco-friendly wet-strength agent, all of which will be used internally for tissue paper production across the full-industrial-chain project with no external sales. - 2026-04
