Quanzhou Huanuo Nonwovens Project Signed and Settled in Xiaogan, Hubei Province, China On July 3, Quanzhou Huanuo Nonwoven Co., Ltd. officially signed a cooperation agreement for its new production project with Xiaogan City, Hubei Province. As a national high-tech enterprise and a Fujian Provincial SRDI (Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative) SME, Quanzhou Huanuo Nonwoven Co., Ltd. has long focused on the R&D and manufacturing of nonwoven materials for hygiene products. The Xiaogan production project under this agreement entails a total investment of RMB 100 million and covers a construction area of 10,000 square meters. It will be located in the existing workshop of Hubei Tianjiao Hygiene Products Co., Ltd., supplying core supporting raw materials for the company.

Quality & Efficiency Improvement Technical Renovation Project of Nanning Sun Paper’s Integrated Forest-Pulp-Paper Industry Approved On June 26, the Environmental Impact Report for the quality and efficiency improvement technical renovation project of the integrated forest-pulp-paper industrial base of Nanning Sun Paper obtained official approval. The approved total pulp and paper production capacity of Nanning Sun Paper Co., Ltd. stands at 4.95 million tpy, including a capacity of 1.45 million tpy and paper capacity of 3.5 million tpy. At present, its completed pulp and paper output scale reaches 4.05 million tpy, consisting of 1.15 million tpy of pulp and 2.9 million tpy of paper.

EIA Public Notice for the 100,000 tpy Lotion Tissue Project of Bitefu Paper On June 29, the Yongchuan District Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Chongqing Municipality released the public notice on the approval decision of EIA documents for the annual 100,000 tpy lotion tissue production line construction project of Chongqing Bitefu Paper Co., Ltd. Located in Gangqiao Industrial Park, Yongchuan District, Chongqing, the project leases existing factory buildings of Chongqing Lee & Man Hygiene Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and expands 8 production lines for lotion tissue, with an annual processing capacity of 100,000 tpy.

EIA Public Notice for Toilet Tissue Technical Renovation Project of Hengxin Paper Industry On June 30, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) public notice was issued for the toilet tissue technical renovation project of Baoding Hengxin Paper Co., Ltd. The renovation project retains the existing facial tissue production line and phases out kitchen towel production to shift to recycled pulp toilet tissue manufacturing. The total number of tissue machines remains unchanged. Among them, two sets of Model 3500 high-speed tissue machines (with an output of 22,000 tpy) will produce facial tissues using commercial wood pulp as raw material; the other five sets of Model 3500 tissue machines (with an output of 28,000 tpy) will fully produce recycled pulp toilet tissue, adopting a raw material ratio of 30% commercial wood pulp and 70% recycled pulp. Three new recycled pulp systems will be added, which take food-grade packaging paper or paper cup parent roll tissue as raw materials to produce recycled pulp. Supporting auxiliary equipment will be equipped, and the wastewater treatment system will undergo upgrading and reconstruction. After the technical renovation, the plant will produce 22,000 tpy of facial tissues and 28,000 tpy of recycled pulp toilet tissue. The total paper-making capacity of the whole plant remains 50,000 tpy unchanged, realizing a green circular development model of "paper-making from waste paper".

EIA Public Notice for Guangxi Yusen Biomass Energy Comprehensive Utilization Project On June 25, the pre-approval public participation environmental impact assessment (EIA) announcement for the Guangxi Yusen Biomass Energy Comprehensive Utilization Project was released. To fully utilize resources and meet the electricity and heat demands generated throughout the paper production of Guangxi Yusen Paper Co., Ltd., the company plans to invest RMB 1.13 billion in constructing three sets of 240 t/h biomass circulating fluidized bed boilers (two for operation, one for standby), matched with two 35 MW generator units. After deducting self-consumption and losses, the project can supply an average of 315.57 tons of steam per hour (peak output: 362.91 t/h) to cover the plant’s steam shortage. The annual power generation capacity will reach 426.8 million kWh. After reserving electricity for self-use, 340.8 million kWh of electricity will be supplied to the full industrial chain project of Guangxi Yusen Paper Co., Ltd.

Three Medical & Hygiene Industry Projects to Settle in Jiujiang, Foshan, Guangdong On June 22, Foshan Youcai New Materials Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Ruinas New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. were granted industrial land use rights in Jiujiang Town, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. Prior to this, Guangdong Baole Nonwoven Products Co., Ltd. had also successfully secured its land plot. All three projects belong to the medical and hygiene project, with a combined total investment of RMB 620 million and a total land area of 75.26 mu. Supporting facilities for the projects will be constructed in tandem.

EIA Public Notice of Tissue Paper Project of Anrou Paper Co., Ltd. Recently, Linyi Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued a public notice of the 50,000 tpy high-grade tissue paper project of Linyi Anrou Paper Co., Ltd. The project is located approximately 340 m north of Gaozhuang Village, Fangqian Town, Junan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, with a total investment of RMB160 million. Its construction scope mainly covers two tissue paper production lines and four packaging paper production lines (two lines each for metal sheet lining paper and tissue wrapping paper), as well as auxiliary facilities and utility works. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2026. Upon commissioning, it will achieve a production capacity of 20,000 tpy of toilet paper and 30,000 tpy of packaging paper, including 22,400 tpy of metal sheet lining paper and 7,600 tpy of tissue wrapping paper.

India’s KAMAKSHI PAPERS Lanched Its First Baotuo Tissue Machine On June 17, its first tissue machine supplied by Baotuo Machinery, an affiliate of Baosuo Group, was successfully commissioned at KAMAKSHI PAPERS in India. Baotuo delivers complete turnkey solutions for the tissue paper industry. Jiangsu Jierji Intelligent Machinery provided the full set of doctor blade systems for the machine.

TM3 Successfully Commissioned at Guangxi Zhongsheng Paper Recently, a crescent tissue machine TM3 supplied by Xian Weiya, was successfully commissioned at Guangxi Zhongsheng Paper Co., Ltd. The machine has a width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,500 m/min. Guangxi Zhongsheng Paper brought TM1 and TM2 into full commercial operation in 2025. The company now operates three modern tissue paper production lines.
