Among these, the tissue paper capacity reaches 200,000 tpy, specifically including: a hand towel workshop equipped with 2 new hand towel production lines with an annual capacity of 100,000 tpy, using the 109,636 tpy of self-produced bamboo pulp as raw materials, and a hand towel converting workshop producing roll and draw-out hand towels.

  • Shanxi Yuntai New Materials to Build a 360,000 tpy Tissue Paper Project Recently, the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the Bio-based Fiber Materials Low-Carbon Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park Project of Shanxi Yuntai New Materials Co., Ltd. in China has been made public. The project will be constructed at the High-tech Industry Base of Datong Economic and Technological Development Zone. With a total investment of approximately RMB 1 billion, the project will be built in two phases. The first phase plans to install 6 tissue machines, featuring 178,840 tpy, along with high-temperature and high-pressure circulating fluidized-bed boilers and supporting auxiliary facilities. The second phase is designed to include another 6 tissue machines, an independent finished product warehouse and a new 90 t/h high-temperature and high-pressure circulating fluidized-bed boiler, with the same capacity of 178,840 tpy as the first phase, as well as relevant supporting auxiliary facilities. The combined annual output of tissue paper from both phases will reach about 360,000 tpy.

  • The LYCRA Company Plant Commences Operations, Adding 30,000 tpy Spandex Capacity On November 7, The LYCRA Company’s plant in Yinchuan, China officially commenced operations. Co-developed by LYCRA Company and Yinchuan Financial Capital Investment Group, the project involves a total investment of over RMB 800 million. Initially, it will add 30,000 tpy of spandex capacity, with an estimated annual output value exceeding RMB 1 billion.

  • Baotuo Paper Machines Win Bid for Golden Eagle Group’s Hand Towel Project Recently, Asia Symbol (Shandong) Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of Golden Eagle Group, announced plans to invest in two hand towel machines, which are scheduled to start operation in 2026. The project includes two sets of hand towel equipment supplied by Baotuo Paper Machines, a subsidiary of Baosuo Enterprise Group. The equipment model is BLW900-2850, featuring a uniquely designed single-wire multi-cylinder structure. This design further improves production efficiency while significantly reducing equipment energy consumption, enabling the machines to operate stably at a high speed of 900 m/min when producing parent tissue roll with a basis weight of 20-35 g/m².

The most significant change of the project is that a 400,000 tpy chemi-mechanical pulp line will be replaced with a 400,000 tpy fluff pulp line, which will be constructed in the first phase ahead of schedule.

Covering an area of 217 mu, the project is expected to be commissioned in early 2027.
