CNPPRI delegation to Finland & Germany

First stop: Valmet, Finland

On October 10, Dr Cao Zhenlei, former Chairman of the China Technical Association of Paper Industry (CTAPI) and Director of the Senior Expert Advisory Committee, and Sun Bo, Deputy General Manager of Poly Sinolight Corporation and President of CNPPRI, led a delegation from CNPPRI to Finland and paid a business visit to Valmet. The two sides exchanged their current development status and innovation achievements, and had an in-depth discussion on the prospect of future cooperation in the field of intelligent manufacturing and energy-saving and emission-reducing technologies.

 


Second stop:
Metsä Group’s Äänekoski Integrated Mill

On the afternoon of October 10, the delegation from CNPPRI visited Metsä Groups Äänekoski Integrated Mill for a business exchange. The two parties held in-depth discussions on how to improve resource utilization efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and advance sustainable development goals through technological innovation.


Third stop: Kemira Espoo R&D Center


On October 11, the delegation from CNPPRI made a business visit to Finland’s Kemira. Kemira’s commitment to innovation and sustainable development has set a strong example for the industry. CNPPRI and Kemira share many common values and goals.

 


Fourth stop
: Stora Enso’s Headquarters

On the afternoon of October 11, the delegation from CNPPRI visited the headquarters of Stora Enso for a business exchange. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on innovation in packaging materials and future cooperation, laying a solid foundation for collaboration in the packaging materials sector.

 


Fifth stop: Sino-Finnish Technology Seminar in Helsinki


On October 12, CNPPRI delegation attended the Sino-Finnish Technology Seminar which was held in Helsinki, Finland. Representatives from both Chinese and Finnish companies engaged in in-depth discussions on themes such as smart manufacturing, sustainable materials, and the circular economy, exploring collaboration opportunities in production efficiency, resource utilization, and environmental technologies.


 



Sixth stop
: Renew Strategic Cooperation Agreement with PTS


  On October 15, the delegation visited the PTS headquarters in Dresden, Germany. CNPPRI and PTS renewed their strategic cooperation agreement, committing to further in-depth and pragmatic collaboration in areas such as joint R&D, advanced technologies and equipment, and international talent exchange.
