Public Notice on EIA for Yunnan Investment Forestry and Pulp’s 760,000 tpy Chemical Pulp Technical Renovation and Expansion Project

On May 14, Yunnan Investment Forestry and Pulp Co., Ltd. issued the second public notice on the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for its technical renovation and expansion project of 760,000 tpy chemical pulp. Adopting the mode of developing new facilities to upgrade existing ones, the project targets the green, low-carbon and intelligent transformation of the integrated forest-pulp-paper industry. A new 500,000 tpy chemical pulp production line will be built based on the existing lines, bringing the total designed capacity to 760,000 tpy.
