Chinas Taiwan Cheng Loong Announced to Invest US$310 Million to Expand  Vietnam Paper Base and Plan Tissue Production Line

 Recently, Cheng Loong Corporation, a papermaking enterprise from Taiwan, China, announced an investment of US$310 million to expand the Phase III production line at its paper mill in Binh Duong, Vietnam, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026. By then, the companys packaging paper capacity in Vietnam will increase from 700,000 tpy to 1,000,000 tpy. The first three phases of the Binh Duong mill focus on packaging paper with a total investment of US$670 million, and a 50,000 tpy tissue paper production line will be added in phase four project.
