Shaanxi Famensi Paper Plans to Build Cultural Paper Production Line and Dismantle Tissue Paper Production Line in No. 3 Branch

On March 5, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shaanxi Province publicized the EIA report for the intelligent upgrading project of Shaanxi Famensi Paper Co., Ltd.’s 100,000 tpy cultural paper pulping and paper machine production line. According to the announcement, the project will be located in the existing plant area of the company’s No. 3 Branch. All existing paper-making facilities in the branch will be dismantled, including two 13,000 tpy cultural paper production lines and a 50,000 tpy tissue paper production line. In their place, the company will build a 100,000t pulping production line and two 3600/800 fourdrinier multi-cylinder paper machines with a total capacity of 145,600 tpy, supported by auxiliary facilities such as an intelligent control system and electrical automation equipment.
