China Hubei Zhencheng Paper plans to build a 500,000 tpy bleached hardwood pulp project

    On June 19, the Jingzhou Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau released the first public notice on the environmental impact assessment of the Green Fiber Processing and Supporting Engineering Project by Hubei Zhencheng Paper Co., Ltd. According to the notice, the project is located in the Yangjiachang Industrial Park, Gong'an County, Hubei Province. The project involves the construction of a production line for 500,000 tons per year of bleached kraft hardwood pulp. The project site covers an area of 1,019 mu (approximately 679,300 square meters) and has a building area of 96,490 square meters. The construction will include workshops for material preparation, chemical pulping, alkali recovery, pulp board production, chemical preparation, as well as storage yards and warehouses. Supporting facilities such as an alkali furnace, water supply system, and air compressor station will also be provided.
