Pulp and tissue parent roll prices in major regional markets of China in November 2024

According to the data from Tissue Paper & Disposable Products Magazine, in November 2024, the pulp prices in major regional markets of China showed an overall downward trend. With the exception of the average prices of bleached and natural color bamboo pulp boards in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, which remained unchanged, the average prices of other types of pulp all decreased. Among them, the average price of bleached bagasse wet pulp in Guangxi saw the largest decline, dropping by 275 RMB/t.

    Among non-wood pulp materials, the average price of bleached bamboo pulp boards in the Sichuan-Chongqing region was 5,550 RMB/t, and the average price of natural color bamboo pulp boards in the region was 4,300 RMB/t, both remaining unchanged from October. In contrast to the overall decline in pulp prices, in November 2024, the prices of tissue parent roll in the tissue paper market remained stable across different regions. The average price of bleached bamboo pulp tissue parent roll in the Sichuan-Chongqing region saw only a slight fluctuation, while the average prices of various tissue parent rolls in other major regional markets remained unchanged.
