EIA Acceptance Announcement for Sichuan Xianhe 1 Million Tonne Bamboo Pulp-Paper Integration Project

Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Sichuan Province issued the EIA acceptance announcement for the 1 million tons bamboo pulp-paper integration project of Sichuan Xianhe New Materials Co., Ltd. Located in the North Lingang Area of Hejiang Economic Development Zone, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, the project has a total investment of approximately RMB 4.7 billion. The project plans to construct an integrated facility with an annual capacity of 1 million tons of bamboo pulp and paper, to be implemented in two phases. Phase I will build a 400,000 tpy bleached kraft bamboo pulp production line; Phase II will construct production lines for 600,000 tpy specialty paper, tissue paper and paper-plastic products, specifically including: 50,000 tpy transfer paper, 50,000 tpy label release paper, 200,000 tpy food and medical packaging paper (including 50,000 tpy coated paper), 200,000 tpy tissue paper, and 100,000 tpy pulp molding.
