EIA Public Notice Issued for Anhui Huasaier New Material’s Lyocell Fiber Project, Phase I Capacity Increased to 240,000 tpy

Recently, the EIA public notice was released for the 400,000 tpy Lyocell fiber project (Phase I) of Anhui Huasaier New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The total construction area of production workshops and supporting facilities is about 240,000 square meters. The company will purchase equipment including hydraulic pulpers, dope filters, thin-film evaporators, spinning machines, fiber dryers and balers to build the 400,000 tpy Lyocell fiber project, with a planned total investment of approximately RMB 4.8 billion. Phase I of the project will have a capacity of 240,000 tpy of Lyocell fiber, with planned investment of about RMB 3 billion. Compared with the previously published information, the total investment of the project has risen from RMB 3.6 billion to RMB 4.8 billion, and the Phase I capacity has been expanded from 120,000 tons to 240,000 tons.
