Andritz High-Consistency Refiner Systems Successfully Put into Operation at Two Gold Hongye Bases

Recently, the tissue paper production lines at Gold Hongye Paper Group’s Rudong (Nantong) and Xiaogan (Hubei) bases, subsidiaries of APP China, have completed installation, after commissioning and successful start-up of Andritz PrimeRefine HC T high-consistency refiner stock-preparation systems for tissue paper. The successive commissioning of the two systems marks an important step in the joint exploration of production processes that balance finished-paper quality and raw material costs, and further validates the application value of high-consistency refining technology in tissue paper manufacturing. The PrimeRefine HC T high-consistency refiner stock-preparation system for tissue paper consists of core equipment including press screws and high-consistency refiners. Compared with conventional low-consistency refining, this process significantly reduces fiber cutting and fines content, enables short-fiber fractions to contribute to paper strength, and helps enterprises optimize raw material composition while guaranteeing finished-paper quality.
