Public Notice on Guangxi Sun Paper’s 800,000 tpy Bleached Chemical Pulp and Fluff Pulp Project

Recently, the draft environmental impact statement for public consultation on Phase IV Project of Tieshan Port Pulp & Paper Industrial Park of Guangxi Sun Paper Co., Ltd., has been publicly released. The project is situated on newly added land to the east of Guangxi Sun Paper Co., Ltd., east of Gangdong Road (formerly Xin'er Road) and south of Shengye Road (formerly No.8 Road) in Tieshan Port (Coastal) Industrial Zone, with a newly expropriated land area of approximately 1,010.35 mu. Using hardwood chips and softwood chips as raw materials and adopting the kraft pulping process, the project will construct one high-grade chemical wood pulp production line with an output of 800,000 tpy. The system design enables the co-production of bleached chemical hardwood pulp (54%), bleached chemical softwood pulp (20%) and fluff pulp (26%).
