Pulp and Parent Tissue Roll Prices in Major Regional Markets in April & May 2026
According to survey data from Tissue Paper & Disposable Products magazine, in April 2026, among major regional markets, the average prices of bleached bamboo pulp and unbleached bamboo pulp in Sichuan-Chongqing, bleached softwood pulp in Hebei and bleached bagasse wet pulp in Guangxi all decreased. The average price of bleached eucalyptus wet pulp in Guangxi went up.
The average parent tissue roll prices in Guangxi and Sichuan-Chongqing fell from the previous month, among which the parent tissue roll made from bleached bamboo pulp in Sichuan-Chongqing dropped by RMB 245 per ton. The average price of bleached wood pulp parent tissue roll in Hebei rose by RMB 35 per ton month-on-month.
In May 2026, for major regional markets, the average prices of bleached hardwood pulp and bleached softwood pulp in Hebei as well as bleached bamboo pulp in Sichuan-Chongqing posted slight month-on-month declines, and the average price of bleached bagasse wet pulp in Guangxi decreased by RMB 247.5 per ton.
The average prices of bleached hardwood pulp and bleached eucalyptus wet pulp in Guangxi and unbleached bamboo pulp in Sichuan-Chongqing stayed the same as the previous month.
The average price of unbleached bamboo pulp parent tissue roll in Sichuan-Chongqing remained flat month-on-month. The average price of bleached wood pulp parent tissue roll in Hebei increased by RMB 40 per ton compared with last month. The average parent tissue roll prices in all other major regional markets declined, and the average price of bleached bagasse pulp parent tissue roll in Guangxi dropped by RMB 337.5 per ton.
