Yunjing Planned to build a 500,000 tpy Bleached Chemical Pulp Production Line

On June 3, Pu’er Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, Yunnan Province, China, released the EIA public notice for the green, low-carbon and intelligent transformation, upgrading, expansion and renovation project of Yunnan Investment Forestry and Pulp Co., Ltd., with an output of 760,000 tpy of chemical pulp adopting the "new capacity replacing old facilities" model under the integrated forest-pulp-paper development strategy.

Yunnan Investment Forestry and Pulp currently operates two chemical pulp production lines with capacities of 100,000 tpy and 160,000 tpy respectively, one 30,000 tpy tissue paper line, plus an ongoing 60,000tpy tissue paper project (24,000 tpy capacity already completed). It is also equipped with supporting caustic soda and chlorine dioxide production lines, as well as other utility works and environmental protection facilities.
