Guangxi Zhihu Yuanchuang Paper Industry Releases EIA Public Notice for 300,000 tpy Plant Fiber New Material Hygiene Products Project

Recently, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the 300,000 tpy plant fiber new material hygiene products project undertaken by Guangxi Zhihu Yuanchuang Paper Industry Co., Ltd. has been released for public comment. The project is located within the site of Zhihu’s tissue paper full-industrial-chain project in the Industrial Park, Gangnan District, Guigang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

According to the EIA public notice, the project will build a 300,000 tpy plant fiber production line, using plant fiber as raw material supplemented by purchased accessories to produce 600,000 tpy of hygiene products. The remaining secondary fluff pulp will be sold to local paper enterprises for the production of medical and nursing paper. In addition, the project will produce 9,000 tpy of eco-friendly wet-strength agent, all of which will be used internally for tissue paper production across the full-industrial-chain project with no external sales.
