Pulp and tissue parent roll prices in major regional markets of China in November 2024According to the data from Tissue Paper & Disposable Products Magazine, in November 2024, the pulp prices in major regional markets of China showed an overall downward trend. With the exception of the average prices of bleached and natural color bamboo pulp boards in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, which remained unchanged, the average prices of other types of pulp all decreased. Among them, the average price of bleached bagasse wet pulp in Guangxi saw the largest decline, dropping by 275 RMB/t. Among non-wood pulp materials, the average price of bleached bamboo pulp boards in the Sichuan-Chongqing region was 5,550 RMB/t, and the average price of natural color bamboo pulp boards in the region was 4,300 RMB/t, both remaining unchanged from October. In contrast to the overall decline in pulp prices, in November 2024, the prices of tissue parent roll in the tissue paper market remained stable across different regions. The average price of bleached bamboo pulp tissue parent roll in the Sichuan-Chongqing region saw only a slight fluctuation, while the average prices of various tissue parent rolls in other major regional markets remained unchanged.

Trützschler China signs agreement with Wangjin Group for two flushable nonwoven production lines On November 11, Trützschler China and Wangjin Group held a signing ceremony for the new Jinnuo Flushable Lines 2 & 3 in Changxing, Huzhou, Zhejiang. Royal Golden Eagle Group’s Sateri (Yancheng, China) Phase II and cogeneration project signed On December 3, the 18th meeting of Singapore Jiangsu Cooperation Council was held in Nanjing. During the meeting, the contract for the Sateri (Yancheng) Phase II and cogeneration project under Royal Golden Eagle Group was officially signed. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first half of 2025, and upon completion, the annual production capacity of Sateri (Yancheng) will be increased to 370,000 tons.

China Liansheng Pulp & Paper (Zhangzhou) successfully starts production of two new crescent tissue machines On December 18, the PM11 and PM12 for the tissue paper phrase II project of China Liansheng Pulp & Paper, successfully commenced operation. The two tissue machines are HC-1700CS/2850 new crescent tissue machines provided by Hicredit. The remaining four Hicredit tissue machines are expected to be fully operational around the start of 2025. Liansheng Pulp & Paper placed a single order for six crescent tissue machines from Shandong Hicredit. Each machine is designed with a speed of 1,700 m/min, a width of 2,850 mm, and is equipped with Hicredit’s self-manufactured headbox and 16ft steel Yankee dryer. Each machine has a production capacity of 25,000 tons per year, for a combined total capacity of 150,000 tons per year. The machines also feature dust and mist removal systems, an online reel-pulling system, and a fully cantilevered design. The unique headbox structure is suitable for producing tissue paper with a basis weight of 10.5–25 g/m².

China Jinboshi Group successfully starts three tissue machines in its Hubei base On December 12, Jinboshi Group’s Hubei base successfully started production of TM 10 and TM 11. The Hubei base project was officially signed on July 26, 2023, and construction commenced on December 2, 2023. Following the successful startup of the No. 10 and No. 11 tissue machines, the No. 9 tissue machine at China Jinboshi Group’s Hubei base was successfully launched on December 16. The subsequent No. 12, No. 13, No. 14, and No. 15 tissue machines are scheduled to start operation throughout December, with efforts to simultaneously commission the No. 8 hand towel machine. The total production capacity of the eight tissue machines is expected to reach 160,000 tons per year.
