CIDPEX ReviewReview of “Senior Products Promotion Catalog” Exhibition
To thoroughly implement the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of the Elderly Products Industry and expand the promotion of high-quality elderly products, the first "Elderly Products Promotion Catalog" Product Exhibition was successfully held from May 15th to 17th, 2024, in Hall 1 of the Nanjing International Expo Center.
Promoting the development of the elderly products industry is a crucial measure for actively responding to population aging in the new era and an inevitable requirement for meeting the people's aspirations for a better life. The state places high importance on this sector. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the Elderly Products Promotion Catalog in 2022 and 2023, aiming to increase consumer awareness and usage of these quality products, thereby enhancing the quality of life for the elderly. This exhibition brought together enterprises whose products were listed in the MIIT's 2022 and 2023 Catalogs. Exhibits covered five major fields: Daily Life Assistance Products, Elderly Apparel and Accessories, Elderly Care Products, Age-friendly Home Products, and Health Promotion Products. It attracted numerous visitors who came to explore and engage with the achievements of the "Silver Economy."

The venue featured a "Scenario Display Zone" for the Catalog, demonstrating the versatile uses of the listed high-quality products through indoor and outdoor activity scenarios of the elderly. There were also "Product Experience Zones" and "Sample Distribution Areas," providing professional visitors and elderly attendees with tangible product experiences.
