Highlight 1: 100,000 m², 1,088 exhibitors, 50,000 visitors, setting new highs in scale and quality, earning high level of satisfaction among exhibitors, visitors, and delegates

The 32nd CIDPEX was successfully held at Wuhan International Expo Center from April 14–18, 2025 (International Forum on April 14–15, Exhibition on April 16–18). Featuring five exhibition zones, i.e. Tissue Paper, Hygiene Products, Raw & Auxiliary Materials, Equipment & Machinery, and Health & Elderly Care, the event covered the entire upstream and downstream industry chain for tissue and hygiene products, including health & elderly care products and smart aging-care enterprises. Utilizing 12 halls of the Wuhan International Expo Center, the exhibition spanned 100,000 m². It attracted 1,088 enterprises from 21 countries and regions, including 59 overseas exhibitors, and welcomed 50,000 professional visitors, including over 4,000 from overseas. The FOCUS Tissue & Hygiene Forum featured 58 high-level keynote speeches and one interactive round table forum, attracting 711 professional delegates. Exhibitors, visitors, and delegates broadly reported strong gains and a high level of satisfaction with the exhibitions results.

 

 

Highlight 2: Improved internationalization level and amplified global influence

All exhibition visuals and promotional materials were presented bilingually in Chinese and English, and foreign language professionals were appointed for exhibitors to enhance the participant experience. Strengthened cooperation with 22 overseas media outlets and 7 overseas associations, amplified promotion across multiple channels like Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, one-on-one overseas buyer invitations, and the setup of an Overseas Buyer Meeting Area and an India Pavilion collectively attracted over 4,000 overseas buyers from 111 countries and regions, including 1 overseas media outlet and 6 overseas associations attending on-site. Domestic and international business connections have become more precise and efficient, with the exhibition’s international influence steadily increasing.

 

 

Highlight 3: Enhanced digital services

The exhibition integrated digital technology with its services, constantly enhancing its functions and supporting services based on the Tissue and Hygiene Cloud Service digital platform. The Tissue and Hygiene Cloud Service currently has 260,000 users. In this edition, the seminar service system was accessed more than 5,000 times, the exhibitor service system over 30,000 times, the visitor registration system exceeded 100,000 uses, and the “Search Exhibitors & Booths” feature was utilized more than 11,000 times. The directory download or view function was accessed 10,000 times. Pre-registered visitors were automatically approved for the first time, making the process more efficient; e-badges were more environmentally friendly and enabled easier access. Digital services allowed exhibitors and visitors to enjoy a professional and attentive participation experience while engaging in business negotiations and information exchange.

 

Highlight 4: Commitment to sustainable building materials

The exhibition offered "ready-to-use," customized low-carbon booth options for exhibitors. This year, 37 exhibitors utilized green, low-carbon booths covering a total area of 1,143 m², assisting enterprises to participate in a high-quality, low-cost, and environmentally friendly manner.

 

Highlight 5: 38 thematic sessions precisely address industry concerns

On-site, 38 thematic sessions provided insights into industry hot spot issues. The session on overseas expansion specifically supported domestic companies in their targeted global outreach. E-commerce platforms including Tmall, JD.com, Taobao's Guohuo Yanxuan Matchmaking, DEWU, Amazon, and Xiaohongshu participated in dedicated e-commerce platform sessions, analyzing industry trends from their perspectives and addressing concerns and questions from brands to jointly lead consumption trends. The "First-Economy" + "Innovation Showcase" session concentrated on displaying new products, technologies, and materials. The Health & Elderly Care Industry Forum offered in-depth, professional and forward-looking analysis of emerging trends in the elderly care sector.

 

Highlight 6: Grand debut of the Health & Elderly Care Zone

Building upon the existing product exhibition area for the "Catalogue of Recommended Elderly Care Products" and industry association zones, the Health & Elderly Care Zone newly featured special experience areas including Smart Aging-Care, Hubei Province's Silver Economy, JD Health's Smart Aging-Care, and a Traditional Chinese Medicine Consultation area. It attracted 31 exhibitors showcasing products such as smart health & care robots, intelligent elderly care equipment, rehabilitation assistive devices and equipment, age-friendly home modification solutions, health monitoring technology, and senior entertainment products, effectively promoting the publicity and experience of high-quality elderly care products and smart aging-care services.

Leveraging platform sales data, Tmall, JD, and Amazon analyzed core dimensions such as user demand insights and market competition landscape. They analyzed category growth trends and innovation trends within their platform ecosystems, providing valuable reference for enterprise product development and market strategy formulation.

 

Industry associations, including the Tissue Paper Committee, Japan Hygiene Products Industry Association, EDANA, and the European Tissue Symposium, shared industry development overviews from broader, more macro perspectives. They provided deep analyses of regional policies, market sizes, and consumer trend characteristics, helping enterprises map the global industry landscape and grasp regionally differentiated opportunities.

 

Euromonitor, Nielsen, and Kantar Worldpanel also provided multi-dimensional market insights from their respective viewpoints. Precise and efficient overseas promotion, invitation, and hospitality services attracted 19 foreign speakers and nearly 100 delegates from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions, which enhanced the international influence of the Forum. With the deepening participation of more international guests, the Forum's global perspective continues to widen, enabling attendees to gain comprehensive insights into the latest global industry dynamics, jointly discuss cutting-edge issues and countermeasures, and promote industry cooperation to deeper levels and broader fields.

During the preparation phase, questionnaire surveys and speaker preview videos were used to accurately collect audience concerns. On-site, a Q&A model combining "moderator guidance + audience questions" was adopted, directly addressing industry pain points and achieving precise problem-solving.

 

Keynote speech highlights were edited into short video clips featuring 'golden quotes' for online dissemination, strengthening online-offline interaction. Post-event, in-depth interview videos with speakers and delegates continue to be released, promoting deep two-way interaction and ensuring the full exchange of ideas from the Forum.

 

Highlight 7: More considerate services from the organizer

The iFLYTEK speech recognition system provided real-time subtitles in both Chinese and English. The simultaneous interpretation team prepared thoroughly in advance, delivering accurate and fluent translations on-site, facilitating convenient information access for participants.

 

The venue was upgraded with an ultra-wide LED screen, and the program flow was meticulously orchestrated. From visual presentation to segment transitions, every detail was refined to create an immersive learning experience for both speakers and attendees.
