Elderly Products Promotion Catalogue Display Area: Enhancing Elderly Welfare and Quality of Life

A dedicated display area for products listed in the “Elderly Products Promotion Catalogue” was set up at the 30th China International Disposable Paper Expo. This initiative aims to thoroughly implement the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Strengthening the Work on the Elderly in the New Era (《中共中央国务院关于加强新时代老龄工作的意见》), the Circular of the State Council on Printing and Issuing the Plan for the Development of National Undertakings for the Aged and Elderly Care Service System during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period (国务院关于印发“十四五”国家老龄事业发展和养老服务体系规划的通知》), and the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of the Elderly Products Industry (关于促进老年用品产业发展的指导意见》)

 

Against the backdrop of a progressively aging population, this special area was established to align with the spirit of the times and promote the traditional Chinese virtue of “respecting the elderly in one’s own family and extending this respect to all elderly people.” It showcases high-quality elderly products designed with suitability, care, and respect for the elderly in mind. It seeks to raise awareness among producers and consumers about the critical needs of the elderly, enhance their quality of life, and help them enjoy a happy and comfortable life in their later years.

The display area brought together elderly-friendly products from 15 enterprises for on-site demonstration: Vinda, Hengan, Aishule, Hengfa, Hongda, Qianzhiya, Sunkiss, Coco, Yofoke, Heshunda, Perfect, Jinjie, Suning, Kangyisheng, and E-Way.

 

Attracting considerable attention from visitors and mass media, the display area leveraged various media channels to amplify the brand influence and consumer recognition of high-quality domestic products, thereby increasing public awareness of the needs of the elderly.
